Cheri Lovre's Crisis Flight Team Training you will learn how to quickly support students and peers through a crisis including leading a response team, managing communication, and helping a community heal after a tragedy. This interactive training will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the crisis flight team approach, including its' purpose, core principles, and practical strategies for responding to children, youth and adults experiencing crisis. Expect a range of activities such as working in small groups to plan a response to a scenario followed by large groups discussions. This training is ideal for professionals working in education, behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice and other family-serving systems. This event is co-sponsored by the Hermiston School District and InterMountain ESD to help build capacity across the region for crisis response for all cultures represented in our communities.
